KIRAN: A Ray of Hope

The Story Behind the Artwork

Sometimes, all it takes is one ray of light to remind us that darkness is not the end.

KIRAN is inspired by the quiet magic of hope the light we hold onto when life feels uncertain, and the courage that helps us begin again.

Its golden tones emerge from deep shades of black, symbolizing the journey from pain to healing, from brokenness to strength, and from losing our way to finding ourselves again.

The contrast between darkness and gold represents the moments when hope begins to return. Even when life feels heavy, a small glimpse of light can change our perspective and remind us that better days are possible.

Handcrafted from reclaimed wood, every block carries a story of transformation, coming together to create something beautiful from fragments of the past.

Because even in our darkest moments, a little light can change the way we see everything.

The Story Behind the Wood

KIRAN is created using reclaimed wood sourced from scrap material associated with Lala G Timber.

Previously used wood is given a new purpose through the Blockistry crafting process, becoming part of an artwork that celebrates hope, transformation, and renewal.

The material's previous life adds another layer to the concept. Just as reclaimed wood can be transformed into something meaningful, KIRAN represents the possibility of finding beauty and strength after difficult experiences.

The client has identified the wood as Sepali. Its natural character becomes part of the artwork, contributing to the relationship between the material and the story it tells.

The Blockistry Craft

150 Hours of Craftsmanship. One Ray of Light.

KIRAN represents 150 hours of crafting, bringing together reclaimed wood, contrasting tones, and a story centered on hope.

The artwork's golden tones emerging from deep black form the heart of its visual identity. This contrast reflects the movement from uncertainty toward clarity, from hardship toward healing, and from darkness toward light.

The wooden construction and acrylic and varnish coating contribute to the finished piece, bringing together material, finish, and visual expression.

Each element supports the central idea behind KIRAN: even fragments from the past can come together to create something meaningful.

150 hours of crafting, transforming reclaimed wood into a lasting reminder of hope and renewal.

Why KIRAN Is Different

KIRAN is built around a simple but powerful idea: darkness is not the end of the story.

Its golden tones stand against deep black, creating a visual representation of hope emerging from difficult times.

Rather than relying on appearance alone, KIRAN connects its visual contrast to an emotional journey:

• Black represents pain, uncertainty, and difficult chapters.

• Gold represents hope, healing, strength, and renewed direction.

• The artwork as a whole represents the possibility of beginning again.

Its meaning is personal and universal at the same time. It can remind different people of different moments in their lives, while sharing one central message:

Even a little light can help us find our way forward.

A Note About Reclaimed Wood

KIRAN is made using reclaimed wood, a material that can carry natural variations from its previous use.

You may notice differences in:

• Wood grain and texture

• Natural colour and tone

• Surface markings

• Knots and small imperfections

These variations are part of the material's natural character and may mean that the finished artwork differs slightly from the product photographs.

The artwork also features an acrylic and varnish coating. Handle it carefully to help preserve the finish.

The natural character of reclaimed wood is part of what makes it meaningful: material from the past is given a new purpose in the present.

Made for Your Space

KIRAN is designed for spaces where artwork can offer more than decoration.

Its golden tones and deep black foundation can create a striking focal point in a living room, bedroom, drawing room, office, studio, or personal collection.

Its message of hope and renewal makes it especially meaningful for spaces associated with reflection, creativity, growth, or new beginnings.
