GOLDEN RIFT: A Path Towards Light

The Story Behind the Artwork

Life is a journey shaped by moments of darkness, unexpected turns, and the golden rays of hope that help us find our way forward.

Golden Journey is inspired by the path we walk through life, where moments of darkness are illuminated by golden rays of hope.

The contrast between black reclaimed wood and warm golden tones symbolizes the challenges we face, the growth that follows, and the strength we discover at every turning point.

The deep black represents life's difficult phases — moments of uncertainty, struggle, and reflection. The golden tones represent hope, resilience, and the possibilities that emerge when we continue moving forward.

Handcrafted from reclaimed wood, each block represents a fragment of life's story, coming together to create a meaningful journey of resilience and transformation.

Every part of the composition reflects the idea that our experiences, both difficult and beautiful, shape the people we become.

Even through the darkest phases, there is always a path leading towards light, purpose, and new possibilities.

The Story Behind the Wood

Golden Journey is created using reclaimed wood sourced from scrap material associated with Lala G Timber.

The wood, identified as Sepali, has been given a new purpose through the creation of this artwork. Material that might otherwise remain unused becomes part of a piece that celebrates the ability to transform fragments of the past into something meaningful.

This connection between material and message lies at the heart of Golden Journey.

Just as reclaimed wood begins a new chapter through craftsmanship, the artwork reminds us that difficult experiences can become part of a larger story of growth, resilience, and transformation.

150 hours of crafting turning reclaimed material into an expression of resilience, purpose, and hope.

Why Golden Journey Is Different

Golden Journey is more than an artwork featuring black and gold. It represents the journey of becoming stronger through life's experiences.

Its visual contrast reflects the relationship between darkness and light — not as opposites that cancel each other out, but as parts of a journey that gives meaning to both.

The black reclaimed wood symbolizes challenges and uncertainty. The golden tones represent hope, growth, and the strength to continue.

Together, they tell a story of transformation: every turning point can teach us something, every difficult chapter can shape us, and every new beginning carries possibilities we may not have seen before.

The journey is not defined only by the darkness we encounter, but by the light we continue to seek.

• Surface markings

• Knots and small imperfections

These variations are part of the natural character of reclaimed wood and may cause subtle differences between the finished artwork and its product photographs.

The artwork features an acrylic and varnish coating. Handle it carefully to help preserve its finish.

The character of the reclaimed wood is part of the artwork's story, material from the past, transformed into something meaningful for the present.
